Reiki Master
Usui Shiki Ryoho
 Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese word, which means
Universal Life Force. Rediscovered by Dr. Usui in the 1800's, Reiki
is an ancient energy technique. It is a natural, non-invasive method of
healing, the laying on of hands. The practitioner channels the Reiki
energy (unconditional love) to the client by touch and gently removes
energy blockages. It complements all forms of allopathic and
alternative health care. Stress and tension are reduced allowing the
energy of the body to flow and accelerate healing through detoxification,
thus balancing body, mind and spirit. The endocrine system, which relates
to the body chakras will balance, and harmonize. Reiki energy is
transferred through clothing, and is an alternative to massage.
Private consultation as well as classes are available.

Reiki is taught in Three Levels.
The First Level is available to anyone with the desire to heal
themselves and others. All that is required is the desire to open
the heart to the "unconditional love energy". Reiki does
not use your own body's energy; therefore you must be initiated or attuned
to the "universal life force". With this initiation you will
become your own healer and take responsibility for your physical,
emotional, and spiritual balance.
The Second Level of Reiki provides you with symbols that empower your
Reiki energy and allow you to do spiritual and emotional healing as well
as "absent healing".
The Third Level (Reiki Master) is for those with an active Reiki Practice and a desire
to teach others.
The client will feel heat from the hands as energy is
transferred. there is no pressure. Reiki can
travel through bandages and casts. In cases of extreme pain, Reiki
may transmit by placing the hands one to two inches above the body.
The client will also note sensations of tingling and pulsing as energy
blocks dissipate. Children and animals love Reiki and respond well
to it. Reiki may be used in hospitals, before and after
surgery. Reiki speeds the healing process and decreases pain. |
The average session is 1 hour. Reiki is
boundless and may be sent anywhere in the world at any time. The
number of sessions depends on the client. A series to start the
healing journey is recommended, leading to a maintenance
program. During periods of stress, more Reiki may be
required.
Anyone can be taught Reiki and learn to do it for them self
and others.
